Salary Check (howmuchtoask.com) is a free tool operated by Crossroads Media GmbH, Vienna, Austria. No account is needed.

2. How your data is used

To generate an estimate, your CV text and the job ad are sent to an AI provider. You can use the tool fully without agreeing to have your CV stored; storage for quality checks is optional and separate. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

3. Informational only

Estimates are generated automatically by AI and are for general information only. They are not legal, tax, or employment advice.

4. No warranty

We do not guarantee that any estimate is accurate, complete, or up to date. Always verify figures against the applicable collective agreement, national law, and your own circumstances.

5. No liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any decision you make, or loss you suffer, based on an estimate. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains unaffected.

6. Fair use

Only upload documents you are entitled to use. Do not misuse or overload the service.

7. Law

These terms are governed by Austrian law. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
